Scholarship Description:
Dr Shawn Liu’s laboratory at Columbia University in New York City is seeking a talented postdoctoral researcher/student to study the epigenome in brain function and disorders using newly developed cutting-edge technologies.
Three major research directions in our lab are 1) development of CRISPR-based epigenome editing tools, 2) epigenetic basis of learning and memory, and 3) targeting human diseases by editing the epigenome.
We offer a very competitive salary and benefits package. Starting salary is $65,000 per annum. A generous benefits package is offered, including medical, dental and vision coverage, as well as a retirement plan and life insurance.

Eligibility criteria:
- Highly motivated individuals with a background in biology, chemistry, biophysics or medicine.
- Experience in NGS analysis, molecular neuroscience or CRISPR is preferred.
