Scholarship Description:

The Laboratory of Biocolloids and Biointerfaces focuses on the biophysical study of biomembranes, thermodynamics, physical chemistry of self-assembly and nanotechnology, as well as advanced surface tension and contact angle measurement techniques, including Atomic Force Microscopy development. Previous team members have published multiple first-author papers (ACS Nano, EST, AC, Biophysical J, JCIS, etc.), and all PhD students and postdocs have successfully transitioned to academic positions.

  • Strong self-motivation, interest in research, and a sense of responsibility, with some experimental skills.
  • Relevant undergraduate or master’s degrees include physical chemistry, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering, physics, etc. Applications from candidates with interdisciplinary backgrounds are also welcome.
