The School of Mechanical, Industrial, and Manufacturing Engineering at Oregon State University is recruiting fully funded PhD students and postdoctoral researchers for Dr. Shuai Wu’s research group, with openings for Fall/Winter 2025 and Spring 2026 admissions.

Eligibility criteria:

  • Curiosity, broad interests, and good physical and mental health.
  • Self-learning ability and motivation.
  • Background in mechanics, materials, mechanical engineering, physics, or interdisciplinary fields.
  • Proficient in English (listening, speaking, reading, writing) with a TOEFL score of 80 or above or an IELTS score of 6.5 or above.
  • Candidates without English test scores may interview first and submit scores later, but must meet this requirement before formal admission.
