Scholarship Description:
PhD positions are available starting Fall 2025 in the ‘Mechanics, Biomimetic, and 3D/4D Printing’ research lab in the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at Northeastern University, Boston. A postdoc position is open immediately.
Students and researchers will work on projects related to the mechanics of new materials, including architected and additively manufactured materials, under the guidance of Professor Yaning Li.

Eligibility criteria:
- Students with background in solid and structure mechanics, mechanics of materials, finite element simulations, and mechanical experiments are all encouraged to apply.
